Christmas Tree Lane

The absolute best Christmas lights in Austin, TX can be found at a street called Christmas Tree Lane. All of these houses have gone above and beyond to put up some truly jaw-dropping Christmas displays. A few have taken it a step further and placed animatronic figures around their home that interact with drivers on the road. If you’re driving through Austin on I35 between 130th Street and Windsor Road. Get off at the Dessau Road exit. This is where all of these amazing homes are located!

A great place to get pictures is from Exposition Boulevard. Just turn onto Exposition going towards downtown, then right onto Balcones Drive when you get down to Mopac (which is like a frontage road for I35). Then make an immediate left on Cranwood Dr. You’ll see several parking lots along here; park anywhere and start walking along Christmas Tree Lane. Please note: do not go inside anyone’s yard; stay on public property, or risk getting towed.

Holiday Time At Space Mountain

Visiting Disneyland is an American tradition, and with Christmas just around the corner, it’s a great time to put on your Mickey ears and head to Anaheim. If you’re hoping to escape into a winter wonderland full of festive magic, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better destination. But what if you want something even more magical than Disneyland? Say, your very own Enchanted Forest display right in your living room? Well, we’ve got some ideas. We’re not promising Disney-esque animatronics or snowfall; we’re not quite sure how to make that happen in California. But we can show you how to add some sparkle and shine in ways both classic and unexpected.

Kauffman Stadium Christmas Tree

After three years of saying no to some pretty impressive proposals, I’m proud to say that Kauffman Stadium has finally decided on an eye-catching addition for our holiday celebration. This year, we’ll be lighting up a 15-foot tall Christmas tree that will be installed atop one of our stadium scoreboards. A Kansas City landmark, it should provide some extra holiday cheer throughout December and into January. There are still plenty of details to work out but I’m excited about what lies ahead. Stay tuned! It’s going to be something special.
